One of the meaningful and purposeful film in the debut direction of noted journalist Sadashiv Shenoy ‘Prarthane’ special screening was organized by Karnataka Chalalachitra Academy at Sri Chamundeswari Studio on Saturday evening.

Challenging star Darshan, actress Prema, Haripriya, Rachita Ram, writer JM Prahallada, KCA Chairman SV Rajendra Singh Babu, Dinesh Registrar of Academy and others graced the special screening. Sadashiva Shenoy recalling the days of making this film felt it is not easy to make a film. Despite of good quality and concern for Kannada language the proper encouragement was lacking he felt.

Ananthnag, Prakash Rai, Pavithra Lokesh, Ashok and others are in the film ‘Prarthane’ that speaks about need of Kannada and the Kannada medium schools.

The difference of government and private school is shown clearly and wish best of luck stated Darshan. Shenoy has picked a good story and directed the film. Let him make big film in future stated actress Prema.

Sadashiva Shenoy has cleverly handled the film and there is no dearth for entertainment stated Rachita Ram and Haripriya.
Producer Harish of ‘Prarthane’ said it is three years old cinema. He thanked the leading stars for making it to watch the film.
